Cookie Policy
The full list of what this site stores in your browser — and how to switch it off.

This policy lists the cookies and equivalent technologies used on horussafety.com. It complements the Privacy Policy, which covers the wider picture.
01What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. Some are indispensable for the page to work; others measure audience or support advertising. Equivalent technologies — local storage and session storage — are treated here in exactly the same way.
Nothing in the analytics or advertising categories loads before you accept. Not the cookie, not the script: your browser makes no request to Google until you decide.
02Necessary — always on
Without this record we could not remember your own cookie choice. It does not identify you.
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
horus.consent | localStorage | Horus Safety | Stores your cookie decision and the date it was made. | Until you clear your browser data |
03Analytics — only with your consent
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Cookie | Distinguishes visitors through a random identifier. | 2 years | |
_ga_LXFJJFE6DL | Cookie | Keeps session state for the Google Analytics 4 property. | 2 years | |
__horus_utm__ | sessionStorage | Horus Safety | Keeps the campaign that brought you here across page navigation, so attribution is not lost. | Until the browser tab is closed |
The Google Analytics property runs with 14-month data retention, with advertising features (Google Signals) disabled and no ad personalisation.
04Advertising — only with your consent
These support Google Ads: measuring which advertisement generated a contact, and remarketing. This is the only category that involves a third party building an audience you belong to.
| Name | Type | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Cookie | Conversion linker — attributes a contact to the ad clicked. | 90 days | |
_gcl_aw | Cookie | Stores the ad click identifier (gclid). | 90 days | |
_gac_* | Cookie | Campaign information linked to the visit. | 90 days | |
__horus_txn__ | sessionStorage | Horus Safety | Conversion identifier, so reloading the thank-you page is not counted twice. | Until the browser tab is closed |
Google may also set cookies on its own domains (google.com, doubleclick.net) for remarketing. Those are governed by Google’s policies; the exact set varies with its configuration and is outside our control, which is precisely why the category is off by default.
05The chat
The Typebot chat is loaded only when you click to start a conversation — never on page load. From that moment, Typebot may store what it needs to keep the conversation going.
That click is your own initiative, which is what makes it lawful without a cookie banner: you are asking for a service, not being tracked.
06Fonts and external resources
Typography is self-hosted, so no request goes to Google servers to render the page. Many sites load fonts from Google, which sends the visitor IP address to a third party on every page view with no possible consent.
There are no embedded maps, videos or social network pixels on this site.
07Legal basis
Necessary storage relies on legitimate interests (art. 7, IX of the LGPD; art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) and is exempt from prior consent because it is strictly necessary (art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC).
Analytics and advertising depend on your freely given, informed and unambiguous consent, given separately. Refusing either does not limit any functionality of this site.
08How to manage your choice
Use the button below to review your preferences whenever you want. Withdrawing is as easy as consenting: switching a category off deletes the cookies already stored in this browser for it.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because your choice is stored in this browser, clearing site data brings the banner back, and switching browser or device requires a new decision.
09Global Privacy Control signal
If your browser or an extension sends the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a refusal of both analytics and advertising: they stay disabled and the banner is not displayed. You can still change that through the preferences button.
10Changes
Whenever we add a technology that requires consent, we will update this list and ask for your permission again.
